This policy explains which cookies we set on our storefront, why, and how you can change your choice. The privacy statement (PDF in the footer) covers the broader processing of personal data.

How we use cookies

Necessary cookies and similar storage are required for the shop to work. We do not ask consent for those. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after a clear choice. Until you accept analytics cookies, we do not load Google Analytics 4.

You can use the shop normally if you reject non-essential cookies. Language, cart and checkout still work.

These cookies and storage are strictly necessary for the service you request: selected language, the Shopify cart, site security, and remembering your cookie choice. They are always on and cannot be switched off in our banner.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under ePrivacy rules. Where personal data are processed, we rely on performance of a contract for cart and ordering (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interest in offering a secure site in the correct language that respects your cookie choice (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics

Only after explicit consent. We then load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NSQYKSQ3GX) to understand how visitors use pages, products, cart and the start of checkout, so we can improve the website. Legal basis: consent, GDPR Article 6(1)(a), together with ePrivacy rules for non-essential cookies.

Google Analytics may process personal data such as online identifiers (cookie IDs), IP address, device and browser data, and information about pages and e-commerce events. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses in our own measurement events. That does not mean Google processes no personal data.

Marketing

The Marketing category appears in the preference settings but is not in use. No Google Ads, Meta or other advertising pixels are placed, even if you enable this category. If we add advertising later, we will ask for consent again and update this policy.

After consent, Google may also receive measurement data through requests to Google domains (including googletagmanager.com).

Retention in Google Analytics

The cookies above sit in your browser. Google Analytics also stores data on its servers for reports. How long that report data remains available depends on the setting in our Google Analytics account. We have not published a specific number of months here, because that account setting has not been confirmed. Server-side retention is separate from the expiry of cookies in your browser. See Google’s data retention help.

Google and data outside the EU

If you allow analytics cookies, Google LLC (United States) processes measurement data to provide Google Analytics. Google publishes the Google Ads Data Processing Terms for this. Whether those terms have been accepted for our account is not confirmed in this policy.

That data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google states that transfers of EEA data to the US may rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on Standard Contractual Clauses. Whether those safeguards are sufficient in our case is a legal assessment; this policy does not claim that international transfers are automatically GDPR compliant.

Shopify checkout

Browsing products and filling the cart happens on our website. Checkout runs on Shopify, on a different domain. The cookie choice on our site is not carried over automatically to that checkout.

Shopify may set its own cookies there for ordering, payment and security. Those cookies are controlled by Shopify, not by our banner. See Shopify’s notice during checkout. Purchase measurement in Google Analytics is not part of our storefront banner; it is only possible through a separate Shopify setting and is not confirmed as live here.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Use the button above or “Cookie preferences” in the footer. You can turn analytics cookies off at any time. We then stop loading Google Analytics and delete first-party Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) where technically possible. Data Google has already received remains subject to Google’s own retention.
